Have you ever found yourself lost in the stars on a clear, dark night? Have you ever been in that moment where you wished you could stay and have it last forever? TEN SIX Photography was founded for this very purpose, to freeze time in a frame capturing the magic of that moment forever. TEN SIX Photography specializes in capturing rare outdoor experiences and providing astrophotography, nightscape and landscape fine art and creative imagery. In addition, I specialize in select portrait and wedding sessions and offer workshops for the hobbyist wanting to learn photography to the professional wanting to fine tune their skills.

Established in 2006, TEN SIX Photography has grown from a hobby to a full time, professional photography adventure. The idea behind TEN SIX Photography started in early 2006 after a ruptured Arteriovenous malformation (AVM) left me in the hospital wondering if I would make it out alive. With the recent death of my father, in addition to having one young son and a second on the way, I awoke in the hospital knowing life was too short. I needed to make the best of the short time I have on this planet. Since then, I have gone from a hobbyist, who took his camera on hikes, to a professional photographer that specializes in landscape and astrophotography. The name TEN SIX comes from the months my three sons were born, October (TEN) and June (SIX).

Fast forward to today, I am the proud father to three amazing and challenging boys, who are the center of my universe. As I have taken my hobby to a professional level, I have shifted my primary focus from portraits to my love of the outdoors. Most weekends you will find me trekking through the Southwestern United States and beyond, bringing you glimpses of the rare, unexplored corners of the world.
